We provide content, information, and virtual consultation on justicial topics that impact low-income and socially-vulnerable individuals and groups via our legal information & service platform [LISP]. Our LISP is best suited for use by those who are self-navigating justicial and legal processes or who simply want to know more about the many laws and entities that compose the justice system.

THE ISSUE

There is a glut of attorneys in certain practice and metro areas, yet there is only 1 legal aid attorney for every 10,000 Americans who cannot afford one.

Rural areas in the United States face widespread attorney shortages.

Public defenders juggle up to 150 criminal cases at a time. In some states, poor misdemeanor defendants have NO access to counsel.

Citizens facing civil & criminal actions are denied adequate counsel, information, and access to justice.

Smart Forms, which guide you through complex legal questions & processes, giving individualized answers to questions based on your location and circumstance and allowing you to create customized documents

Our legal information and service platform [LISP] is available to anyone from any location, but given our focus on socially and geographically-vulnerable people, we base our content and services on the laws of states where the need for justicial services is great yet largely unmet. As such, presently Pocket Lawyer LISP is most applicable to residents of and those currently in the following states:
